Entworfen wurde der 3,80 m lange und 32 PS starke Kleinwagen von Mario Revell di Beaumont. Die Modelle hießen 1000 und 1000 GL. 1962 folgte der Simca 1000 Coupe Bertone gefolgt von dem Simca 900 in 1963 welcher die einfache Version des Simca 1000 war. Das Modelljahr 1966 wird gekennzeichnet durch eine Überarbeitung des Armaturenbretts und besteht aus den Typen 1000L welcher den Simca 900 ersetzte, 1000 GL, 1000 GL Automatik und dem GLS. |

Designed byMario Revell di Beaumont it was available as Simca 1000 and 1000 GL with a length of 3,80 meters and 32 hp. In 1962 the Simca 1000 Coupé Bertone followed as a replacement as well as the Simca 900 in 1963 being the simple version of the Simca 1000. The models from 1966 onwards are marked with revised dashboards and includes the models 1000 L, 1000 GL, 1000 GL Automatique and 1000 GLS. |
