Very Fine Senneh "Multicolor-Haftrang" Rug (Multicolor Silk Foundation & Fringes), Northwest Persia, late 19th century, wool/multicolor silk-foundation, approx. 198 x 130 cm, condition: 2-3 (professionally repaired head-ends with new made fringes, otherwise good condition, professionally cleaned), remarkable very fine knotting with very soft-touch, so-called Haftrang-type (symbol for the seven steps to paradise) with classical medallion pattern and human motifs, congratulations in the small borders, probably made as a wedding gift, absolutely rare.
