Seltener großer Ning-Hsia "Kloster-Tempelteppich" antik (Wohl gemacht für den Kaiserhof in der verbotenen Stadt Peking oder für ein tibetisches Kloster) "Qing Dynastie", Westchina, 1.Hälfte 19.Jhd., Wolle geknüpft auf Baumwolle. Seltener Ning-Hsia mit religiösen Ornamenten auf gelben Grund. Das Innenfeld zeigt zwei Priester mit Gebetsmuschel (Aufruf zum Gebet), mittig eine Vase. Im Oberen Bereich Jiao-Tu Drachenköpfe (einer der neun Drachensöhne). Im Unteren Bereich Berg Meruh mit Wellen und Wolken. Absolutes Unikat. Bedeutender Teppich aus dem Reich der Mitte mit Kulturhistorischen Wert, ca. 388 x 280 cm, EHZ: 2-3. |

Important & Rare Yellow Ningxia "Monastery- Temple Carpet" (Qing Dynasty), West China, first half 19th century, wool/cotton, approx. 388 x 280 cm, condition: 2-3, rare and important large monastery or temple carpet with religious ornamentation on yellow ground,the field shows two tibetan priest with prayer-shell (call for the prayer), in the middle a chinese vase, in the upper part with Jiao-Tu dragon-heads (one of the dragon sons),the part below with mountain Meruh and water- waves, probably made for the imperial use in the forbidden-city in Beijing or made for a tibetan monastery, important and unique.
