Ningxia "Temple Rug" (Lama Calls For Prayer), West China, mid. 19th century, wool/cotton, rare chinese temple rug probably made for the forbidden city Beijing, Lama blow into a shell and calling the monks for prayer, the counterpart was in the famous "Te-Chun Wang" collection, approx. 240 x 112 cm, condition: (four spots with missing pile, otherwise good condition with origin pile).
