Seltener Peking "Drachen-Teppich" mit Metallbrokat (wohl für den Kaiserhof gefertigt), China, ende 19.Jhd., reine Naturseide mit Metallbrokat geknüpft auf Baumwollkette. Der Metallbrochierte Grund wird von 5 kaiserlichen Drachen mit Wolkenbändern belegt. Darstellung des Berges Meru im oberen und unteren Bereich, ca. 223 x 128 cm, EHZ:2(sehr guter Zustand). |

Rare Peking "dragon carpet " with metal brocade (probably made for the imperial court), China, end of the 19th century, pure natural silk with metal brocade knotted on cotton . The metal brocaded ground is covered by 5 imperial dragons with bands of clouds.
