Julius Hüther, 1881 Cannstatt bei Stuttgart - 1954 München, Studium an der Münchener Akademie bei Gabriel v. Hackl u. Ludwig v. Löfftz, lebte nach seinem Abschluss 1909 bis zum Beginn des 1.WK im abgelegenen Vezzano (Trentino) u. erlangte hier den werkbestimmenden Natureindruck der dortigen archaischen Landschaft, entwickelte nach der Trentino-Frühzeit ein breites Interesse an untersch. Sujets, hier: Frühwerk aus der Zeit in Trentino, Blick auf den Strand am Nordufer des Molveno Sees in Südtirol, scheinbar ungewöhnliche Perspektive als topographisch korrekte Aufsicht der Landschaft, alla prima -Malerei, für sein Werk typisch: locker, dünn u. fast aquarellartiger Farbauftrag unter Verwendung der Leinwandstruktur, malerisch aufgelöstes Motiv, exemplarisch für Hüthers Frühwerk, rechts unten signiert u. datiert (19)11, Öl/Lwd, R., ca. 75x90 cm |

Julius Hüther, 1881 Cannstatt near Stuttgart - 1954 Munich, studied at the Munich Academy with Gabriel v. Hackl and Ludwig v. Löfftz, lived after his graduation in 1909 until the beginning of WWI in the remote Vezzano (Trentino) and gained the natural impression of the archaic landscape that determined the work there, subjects, here: early work from the time in Trentino, view of the beach on the north shore of Lake Molveno in South Tyrol, apparently unusual perspective as a topographically correct view of the landscape, alla prima painting, typical of hiswork: loose, thin and almost watercolor-like Paint application using the canvas structure, painterly resolved motif, exemplary for Huether's early work, signed and dated lower right (19) 11, oil / canvas, R., approx. 75x90 cm |
