Karachoph Kazak antik, Kaukasus, um 1850/60, Wolle auf Wolle, ca. 220 x 156 cm. Auf blaugrünem Grund ein archaisches Oktogon mit einer spartanischen Innenzeichnung. An den Ecken die charakteristische Schachbrettmusterung. Eine breite Farbpallette alter Naturfarben. In den Obbligaten 4 weisse Rechteckkartuschen die üblichen 9 Achtzacksterne umrandet von einer strahlend gelben Hauptborduere. Ein absolut museales Meisterstueck. Ein majestaetischer einzigartiger musealer Karachoph siehe Battenberg Orientteppiche Band 1 von 1979 Seite 98 Bild 31 siehe alte und antike orientalische Knüpfkunst Peter Bausback 1979 seite 37. Altersbedingt guter Zustand, restauriert. |

Karachoph Kazak antique, Caucasus, around 1850/60, wool on wool, approx. 220x156 cm. An archaic octagon with a spartan interior drawing on a blue-green background. The characteristic checkerboard pattern at the corners. A wide range of old natural colors. In the obligatory 4 white rectangular cartouches the usual 9 eight-pointed stars surrounded by a bright yellow main border. An absolute museum masterpiece.
