Baku-Schirwan antik, Kaukasus, um 1900, Wolle auf Wolle, ca. 275 x 142 cm. Perfekter und sehr identifikativer Teppich für die Zone. Die Innenzeichnung der 4 Rechtecke stellen Froesche (Kreuzmotive) und Arsin da. Beide Motive besitzen amulettcharakter, siehe Azerbaidjanische - Kaukasische Teppiche Sammlung Ulmke Schweiz 2001 Seite 319/391 Bild115. Altersbedingt guter Zustand. |

Baku-Shirvan antique, Caucasus, around 1900, wool on wool, approx. 275 x 142 cm. Perfect and very identifiable rug for the zone. The inner drawing of the 4 rectangles represent frogs (cross motifs) and arsine. Both motifs have the character of an amulet, see Azerbaijani - Caucasian carpets, Ulmke Collection, Switzerland 2001, page 319/391, picture 115. In good condition for its age.
