Decker (um 1620-1678 Haarlem) & Adriaen van Ostade (1610-1685 Haarlem), Rast am Saum eines Eichenwaldes, gesteigertes Interesse an der Stofflichkeit verwitterter Architekturen und Oberflächen, rastende Staffagefiguren als zentraler Bildakzent, Zusammenarbeit mit dem Genremaler Adrian van Ostade, dieser fügte wie häufig geschehen die bäuerlichen Staffagefiguren hinzu, rechts unten im Baumstamm undeutlich monogrammiert "163", Öl/Lwd, 95x85 cm, fachgerecht rest. (2021/22) nach l. Lwd.- Schaden Mitte rechts, altersgemäß guter Zustand, Prunkrahmen l. best., 112x98 cm, Keilrahmen mit zwei alten Siegeln und fragmentarischem Etikett (wohl 19.Jh.); mit Gutachten von Dr. Walther Bernt (Mai 1977); Vgl. Decker (around 1620-1678 Haarlem) & Adriaen van Ostade (1610-1685 Haarlem), resting at the edge of an oak forest, increased interest in the materiality of weathered architecture and surfaces, resting staffage figures as a central pictorial accent, collaboration with the genrepainter Adrian van Ostade, this added, as often happened, the rural staffage figures, indistinctly monogrammed "163" lower right in the tree trunk, oil/canvas, 95x85 cm, professionally restored. (2021/22) after l. Canvas damage center right, good condition forits age, magnificent frame l. best., 112x98 cm, stretcher with two old seals and fragmentary label (probably 19th century); with advice from Dr. Walther Bernt (May 1977);See Lit.
