"Monschau 1921", Öl/Lwd, 65x50 cm, Conzen-Rahmen 83x70 cm; kompositorisches Pendant zu "Rotes Haus in Monschau" (OY 141, Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, WVZKraus 1993: G 498) sowie Farbkreide-Zeichnung (OY 230, Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf). Entstanden während des Aufenthaltes in Monschau im Sommer1921. Häusergewirr im Tal der Rur. Keilförmig das sogenannte rote Haus im Bildzentrum. Architekturen in flächige Farbformen differenziert. Created during astay in Monschau in the summer of 1921. Tangleof houses in the Rur valley. The so-called redhouse in the center of the picture is wedge- shaped. Architectures differentiated into flatcolor forms.
