Joseph Wackerle (1880-1959), um 1909, Rot-Terrakotta, Majolikabemalung in naturalistischer Manier, großer Kakadu mit Kirschzweig auf Früchtekorb sitzend, H. 55cm, Modell-Nr. M I/I, am Korb Rautenschildmarke, Schwanzfedern und Korb leicht bestoßen; Manufakturmarke am Korb, Wackerle lieferte den Formentwurf während seiner Zeit als künstlerischer Leiter in Nymphenburg zwischen 1906 und 1909. In zwei Größen sollte die Plastik sowohl Innen- als auch Außenräume dekorieren, bspw. von Weinrestaurants;vgl. Lit. | Englische Beschreibung | Crested cockatoo with cherry branch, Nymphenburg, designed by Joseph Wackerle (1880-1959), around 1909, red terracotta, majolica painting in a naturalistic style, large cockatoo with cherry branch sitting on afruit basket, height 55 cm, model no. M I/I, diamond shield mark on the basket, tail feathers and basket slightly bumped; Wackerle provided the design during his time as artistic director in Nymphenburg between 1906 and 1909.
