| Deutsche Beschreibung | Sonnenuhr vertikal, als Anhängeuhr, Böhmen um 1780/1820, Messing, in sog. "barocker Wappenform", beidseitig graviert, vorderseitig drehbarer Monatszeiger mit aufklappbarem Gnomon und Monatsbänder (lat.), rückseitig mit Stundeneinteilung und Signatur: "F. Zappeck (Prag)", Zahlen mit vertieften schwarzen Lack H. ca.6cm, (fast ident.Objekt, mit gleicher Signatur in Wiener Museum und Lit. Radko Kynol, Lexikon der Uhren, S. 34) alt belassen - ungereinigt, altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren Zur Zeitbestimmung wird der Zeiger auf den Monat (lat.) gestellt, auf dem Zeiger wird derGnomon ganz umgeklappt (270 Grad) und zeigt auf der andere Seite mit seinem Schatten auf der Stundenlinie die Zeit an. |
| Englische Beschreibung | Vertical sundial, as a pendant clock, Bohemia around 1780/1820, brass, in the so-called "baroque coat of arms shape", engraved on bothsides, rotatable month hand on the front with folding gnomon and month bands (lat.), on the back with hour division and signature: "F. Zappeck (Prague)", numbers with recessed blacklacquer, height approx. 6cm, (almost identicalobject, with the same Signature in Vienna Museum and Lit. Radko Kynol, Lexicon of Clocks, p. 34) left old - uncleaned, age- related signs of wear - To determine the time,the hand is set to the month (Latin), the gnomon on the hand is completely folded over (270 degrees) and shows the time on the other side with its shadow on the hour line. |
